Jennifer Choi

Jennifer Choi is a Chinese-Canadian dancer, choreographer, and dance teacher holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performance Dance from Toronto Metropolitan University. With extensive training in ballet, contemporary, modern, jazz, hip hop, Latin, ballroom, waacking, and house, she brings a diverse and well-rounded movement foundation to her teaching. Jennifer is passionate about creating supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environments where students of all ages and experience levels feel empowered to explore movement, build confidence, and develop both technical skills and artistic expression. Alongside her work as a teacher, Jennifer has performed in works by choreographers including Jesse Obremski, Stephanie Lake, Louis Laberge-Côté, Robert Desrosiers, Alyssa Martin, and Hanna Kiel. Her performance credits include appearances at the London Fringe Festival, Porch View Dances, and Art Spin’s Bike Tour, experiences that continue to inform and enrich her teaching practice.
